find the best mattress that’s right for you

There’s no one-size-fits-all mattress, and the first step in choosing a new one is knowing what feels right for you and how you sleep. That's why we’re giving you a 200-night trial to do exactly that, so you have one less thing to worry about during a time of such uncertainty. That’s any mattress for a whopping 200 snoozes to see how it feels for you. And if you don’t like it, we’ll sort out collection and refund your money. Because aside from a great mattress, flexibility is what we all need right now.

mattress types

Mattresses have come a long way in recent years. Once upon a time, you could only buy ones made using spring coils. But these days, mattresses can be made from a whole host of materials - from memory foam to latex. At eve, we have two memory foam mattresses and four hybrid mattresses (a combination of premium foams and pocket springs).

memory foam mattresses

When you lie on a memory foam mattress, you’ll notice that the surface lightly contours to your body - a bit like a very gentle hug. The memory foam of yesteryear used to feel slightly too sinky, but the newer stuff, like our very advanced foams, stop this from happening.

Memory foam mattresses are great for pressure relief as they evenly distribute your body weight. Nowadays, some mattresses even feature tiny cutouts in the foam (techy people call this zoning) that helps to further relieve pressure from your pointy bits. We’ve used this technique in each of our foam mattresses, so you feel great when you wake up. You’ll also find each mattress has a firmer, supportive foam base. This all helps to keep your neck and spine aligned, whatever position you sleep in.

Our memory foam also absorbs movement. If there’s someone beside you, they can toss and turn as much as they like. You’ll sleep right through it.

Something else that we’ve worked into our premium memory foam mattress is a super special fabric treatment called Adaptive. This will help you regulate your body temperature while you’re catching up on ZZZs and dreaming big about tomorrow. Adaptive also help to support moisture wicking and evaporation too. That means that even on sweaty summer nights you can enjoy a cool, dry, and comfortable sleep. Neat, eh?

hybrid mattresses

A hybrid mattress is a great choice for those of us who can’t seem to make up our minds on the subject of memory foam vs pocket spring. All of our hybrid mattresses have 1000 full-size pocket springs to give every bit of you the right support while you sleep. It’s topped with a thick layer of our premium memory foam for added comfy squishiness.

There’s no one mattress that’s ideal for all of us. And with the first step in finding a new one being finding out what feels right for you, we thought that giving you a 200-night trial to do exactly that was the right thing to do. That’s any mattress for up to 200 snoozes to see how it feels for you. If you don’t like it, we’ll pick it up from your bedroom for free - no strings attached. And it doesn’t even have to go back in the box.

natural mattresses

You guessed it, a natural mattress is one that’s made from natural materials. Popular materials used in natural mattresses include cotton, wool, or latex provided by mother nature herself. And they come with all the lovely benefits you’d expect from organic fibres. These materials create a comfy base, are naturally very breathable and moisture-wicking for a cooler sleep. The downside? Natural and organic mattresses often come with a hefty price tag.

no motion transfer

Sleep next to a fidgeter? If you’ve got the wrong type of mattress, you’ll feel every toss and turn - making it feel like you’re sleeping on the high seas. This wobbly feeling is called motion transfer, and it can be the difference between a great night and a sleepless one. You tend to feel more wobbles on a traditional spring mattress than you would on a memory foam one. We’re proud to say that every eve mattress has no motion transfer, so you won’t have your sleep disturbed by a fidgety partner ever again.

mattress firmness and your comfort

All of our mattresses give you a Goldilocks, just-right firmness level and support system. We’ve come up with an adaptable solution that allows sleepers of all types to find their special sweet spot. Unzip the mattress cover and flip the top section of the mattress to adapt the firmness as needed to varying types of sleeping positions and personal preferences. That’s right, finding your sweet spot is as easy as unzip and flip! So whether you prefer a firm mattress or a medium one, our clever little idea allows you to adapt your mattress as you please.

And so, back and front sleepers can get the support they need for their lower back - while people who sleep on their side get pressure relief for their shoulders and hips. And with a 200-night mattress trial, you’ve got time to snuggle up to your new eve and check it ticks your comfy boxes.

But, we know that comfort is about more than just support. So, each of our mattresses will also give you a unique feeling when you lie on them. It’s all thanks to the top layers. Some, like our wunderflip premium memory foam mattress and our wunderflip premium hybrid mattress, give you a deeper, marshmallowy cushioning.

get too hot when you sleep?

Older types of memory foam had the tendency to make things too warm in bed. We only use a new kind that keeps things more breathable and cool. It’s all down to these special breathable air channels. Actually, our memory foam is 5 times more breathable than standard memory foam! All in the interest of helping you sleep cooler. These breathable channels allow air to flow through your mattress.

But, we also know some of you feel slightly warmer than others at night. So, in our premium memory foam and hybrid mattresses, you’ll find that special fabric treatment we mentioned earlier. It’s called Adaptive and it helps to keep your body temperature regulated all night long. It also helps to support moisture wicking and evaporation too, meaning that even on sweatiest of nights, you can still have a cool, dry, and comfy snooze. If you regularly find that you feel too toasty to sleep, have a peek at our wunderflip premium memory foam mattress or our wunderflip premium hybrid mattress – one of these could be the one for you.

Pocket springs (like the ones we use in our hybrid mattress) are also naturally very airy - and another sensible mattress choice for you hot sleepers out there.

how often should I replace my mattress?

Do you wake with an ache? Or find it tricky to fall asleep in the first place? Your mattress could have a lot to answer for. Keep your eyes peeled for sagging, any unevenness or lumpiness from displaced springs. It’s time to start mattress shopping if your current one is uncomfortable and not giving your body the support it needs.

If you invest in a high-quality, well-designed foam or pocket-spring mattress, it has the potential to keep its shape and support for a whopping 10-15 years. But, because of the build-up of dust, oils, moisture and dead skin, we think it’s best to change your mattress every 10 years. And just to back that up, all of our mattresses come complete with a 10-year guarantee! This gives you peace of mind that your investment will last you at least a decade. Should your mattress develop any manufacturing issues or defects during this time, drop us a line and we’ll get things sorted out sharpish for you.

how do I clean my mattress?

The great news is you can put your sponge and bucket away. All of our mattresses require specific ELC (that’s eve loving care) rather than a soapy wash.

That’s why we’ve written a nifty mattress cleaning guide. It has all of the handy info you need to keep your mattress squeaky clean with tips. You’re welcome.

what's the best mattress size?

When deciding on the best mattress size for you, ask yourselves some questions: where will it sit? Who will use it? How will it look in your bedroom? How does your bed frame measure up?

You might want a smaller single mattress for a guest room or an indulgent super king size in the master bedroom for you to sprawl across. Whetheryou’re buying a mattress for yourself or one you intend to share with a partner now and again, a small double mattress is a seriously cosy choice.

But actually, those sharing a bed on a regular basis will need to think about whether a double will be enough - or do you need the space for long limbs that a king size bed will give you?
